THE MESSAGE OF LONG FORGOTTEN VICTIMS

We cried for help, but no one came,

We died in wars, many of ours lame,

Those empty and destroyed buildings, once our realm;

All went up in smoke of the flames.

Those killed atrociously were just innocent and helpless,

But the justice has now become a monkey business,

Of those unaccountable and remorseless,

And maybe the blind justice is not so blind for affluence and abundance.

The vested interests, the imperialists’ forces,

Those already eroded mechanisms governed by perpetrators choices,

They prefer the ambit of cases that perfectly hides their offences

And that genuinely betosses.

The worth of Hackworth’s efforts to establish fair shake is hacked,

The defenceless are institutions themselves in fact,

Their efforts to initiate search for truth are attacked,

And it’s the future of average joe in between all these tussles that is blacked.

Injustice anywhere it threat to justice everywhere,

We, the dead can’t come back and reverse the system ensnared.

The power lies in your hand to change the system altogether.

So Read the riot act to venal and realize the dream of poetic law and order.
